Nguyen Quang Huy was born in 1971 in Ha Tay in North
Vietnam.  Between 1991 and 1996 he studied at Hanoi Fine
Art University. In 1996 he was Artist in Residence at Artist
Unlimited in Bielefeld, Germany.

In 1997 he received a grant of the Vietnamese and Swedish
culture Foundation.  In 1999 he was Artist in Residence at
Casula Powerhouse Art Center in Syndey, Australia.

In 2000 he was Artist in Residence at Pacific Bridge Gallery
in Oakland, CA in the United States.
